The This or That Challenge

Hey there! Your girl is back with a blog post more about herself than books (sorry about that).

I was tagged by @noreadstoogreat in the This or That Challenge, created by @bookprincessreviews! One thing I learned about Norees is that, apparently, it’s possible to like salad over french fries 😨

🔸 INTROVERT or EXTROVERT 🔸

Ambivert — I know this is the first one, but I have to say neither because I’m textbook Ambivert. I don’t have a hard time dealing with social situations, even thrive in some (I love nightclubs and parties with loud music). However, I do need some time to recharge after that, where I’m just quiet and alone. I don’t enjoy being the center of attention, but I’m also not heavily opposed to it. I also have a tendency to rise to the position of leader of a group if I see it’s needed and no one will do it.

🔹 WIN THE LOTTERY or WORK AT THE PERFECT JOB 🔹

Work at the perfect job — Look, money runs out. It’s easier to have a stable source of income that can get you through life while allowing you to pursue your interests. I also get bored pretty quickly, so I honestly wouldn’t be happy without a job.

divider 2

🔸 READING or WRITING 🔸

Reading — Since I joined the bookish community, it feels like a lot of book bloggers and youtubers aim to write their own novel and be a published writer. And, honestly, I am not a writer. Blogging is hard enough for me, but I like writing about facts and my opinions. I just don’t have the knack for fiction and the patience for a big project.

🔹 BREAKFAST or NO BREAKFAST 🔹

Breakfast — ALWAYS breakfast. I can’t function until I eat in the morning.

divider 2

🔸 MARVEL or DC 🔸

Marvel — The MCU has been ruling my life for a few years now, and I’m DEFINITELY not ready for Endgame. I’m going to bawl my eyes out.

divider 2

🔹 TV SHOWS or MOVIES 🔹

TV shows — Don’t get me wrong, I love movies. I’m one of those people that watch all of the Oscars movies, and I watch ScreenJunkies News every day. But, as I said before in numerous book reviews, I’m a character-driven girl. And it’s easier to connect with characters and have them grow on me if I follow their adventures for a long time, instead of just a 2-hour movie.

divider 2

🔸 FRENCH FRIES or SALAD 🔸

French fries — This is the easiest one because I can’t eat salad (I know, not healthy at all) and I’m addicted to french fries. If there are any french fries in the table, I’ll be the one asking if I can finish them.

divider 2

🔹 DYED HAIR or NATURAL COLORS 🔹

Natural Colors — I’ve always dreamt about dying my hair either grey or blue. But I’m a brunette, and I don’t want to mess up my natural hair by bleaching it. So yup, going with natural.

divider 2

🔸 LEGGINGS or JEANS 🔸

Jeans — Maybe because I’ve always been overweight and my thighs are thick, I never used leggings on my day to day life. Add my hyperhidrosis and jeans was the only type of bottoms I wore for years.

divider 2

🔹 DISNEY CLASSIC or PIXAR 🔹

Disney Classic — For some reason, I barely watch any Pixar movies? I watched Toy Story for the first time last year, Finding Nemo flew under my radar, but I LOVED Coco. On the other hand, I’ve watched every Disney princess movie, including sequels.

I’m tagging Esmé, Rita and Aki, I want to know more about you girls!
